1. Thank you for taking some time to be interviewed for Taking Back The Underground Magazine. Can you please introduce yourself to our readers and tell us your name?!
WHAT TF IS UP BEAUTIFUL CREATURES, I AM XOROCKO
2. How long have you been working/making music under this project title?
I start freestyling for fun with the homies after school back in 6th grade (2016), but never started taking it serious until 2019 with my first soundcloud drop I did with another close artist.
3. Who gets bragging rights for helping you get to where you are now? Who are your day ones?
Honestly all the homies that would gas me up and put up with my bullshit back then, Always letting me bump my unreleased songs in the whips when I didn’t have my own yet hahaha… yall really motivated me to get where I am today with music
4. What was it like growing up in a small town? How did it affect your music career?
It was really challenging and still is I’d say, not many people from my area support underground trap metal, so many music venues have opened up and closed due to these reasons but its not gonna stop from spreading the word / movement!!
5. What can we expect from you in 2024? New music, visuals or tours?
I GOT TONS OF CONTENT LINED UP FOR YALL!! Dropping a couple more singles then imma hit yall over the head with a lil new years tape to end off 2024 with a bang… it’s definitely been a dream to put together a tour with the top dogs in AZ.
6. What are your long-term goals? Where do you see yourself in 10 years. What about your end game?
My main goal is to feed my younger generations with my music & wisdom… I want them to know that in a world full of hate & violence music will always be there to help. 10 years from now I see myself with hundreds of platinum records & trophies.
7. With an interest in who your influences are, if you could go on tour with anyone in the world, who would be on the bill with you?
gg allin, nascar aloe, n8noface, emotionalxan, craig xen, dirtybutt, whatsdysmorphia, & many more but u get it 😉
8. What is your local music scene like? What are the pros and cons? And where do you see room for improvement?
We definitely know how to get things raddled up if you know what I’m sayin!! We love all kinds of different music, As long as we got crazy energy we’ll be throwing fists and kicks in the pit all day no hesitation… but we also do got the karens and old farts who think they can run shit but that’s now how it works!!
9. Here at TMA we’re constantly looking for fresh talent and prospective features. If you had to choose 5 artists from your circle to put us on too, who would you choose and why?
All of my local Prescott homies / talent!!
